Today, Tuesday 17 December, whisky enthusiasts are invited to take part in a special Instagram Live event hosted by the Isle of Harris Distillery at 6PM (GMT).
The session will be led by renowned whisky writer and presenter Kristiane Sherry, who will be joined by Shona Macleod, the distillery’s blender, to explore the fascinating story of the distillery and its Hebridean roots.
The event will feature a guided tasting of two distinctive whiskies: The Hearach Single Malt Whisky and the First Fill Oloroso Cask Matured.
This unique opportunity offers a deep dive into the island’s craftsmanship and innovation, shedding light on the production techniques and cask maturation behind these celebrated expressions.

Participants are encouraged to pour themselves a dram or two while tuning in and to submit questions in advance via the Isle of Harris Distillery’s Instagram account.
These will be answered live during the session. The tasting will be broadcast on Instagram Live through the distillery’s account @isleofharrisdistillers, providing whisky lovers from around the globe a chance to connect with one of Scotland’s most iconic distilleries.
