Rowan Glen’s Greek Style Vanilla Yogurt was a standout in this year’s judging, earning the top spot in its class, Champion for Best Cultured Dairy Product, and going on to be named Reserve Champion for Overall Dairy Product.

The success didn’t stop there, with the team also picking up Gold awards for their Luxury Strawberry and Luxury Raspberry & Blackberry yogurts, Silver for Greek Style Lemon, and Bronze for Greek Style Honey – all crafted at their Palnure based dairy in Dumfries & Galloway.

Alan Baxter, Managing Director of Rowan Glen, said:

“We’re thrilled to see our products recognised at such a well-respected event. Every award is a credit to our hard-working team.

Rowan Glen has always been about quality, taste and sourcing locally. This result is a proud moment for our business, especially after becoming independently owned just a few years ago. It’s brilliant to see our yogurt standing shoulder to shoulder with some of Scotland’s biggest food brands.”

The Highland Show win is the latest milestone for the business, which has undergone a quiet transformation since becoming independently owned in 2022. While the site itself has been producing yogurt since 1993, the new Rowan Glen is focused on strengthening its brand, growing its presence in retail and foodservice and championing high-quality Scottish dairy.
