Award-winning RAD Hotel Group has unveiled its 2026 Christmas programme, bringing together festive dining, shopping, live entertainment, seasonal breaks and Hogmanay celebrations across its ten Scottish hotels.

The family-owned hospitality group, which was named Hospitality and Tourism Business of the Year at the Ayrshire Business Awards, is now taking bookings for events running from November through to New Year.

Its portfolio spans Ayrshire, Glasgow, South Lanarkshire and Dumfries, offering experiences ranging from afternoon tea and family lunches to Christmas party nights, overnight escapes and Hogmanay balls.

The programme will also mark Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa’s first Christmas as part of RAD Hotel Group. The five-star Troon hotel joined the portfolio with an established calendar of festive experiences, alongside its accommodation, dining, spa and wedding offering.

Christmas shopping, fashion and festive days out

Celebrations will begin in November with Lochgreen’s Here Comes Christmas Ladies’ Days, which will combine independent gift shopping with a fashion show and live cookery demonstration from Willie Pike MBE, a Master Chef of Great Britain.

Guests will be welcomed with morning coffee and homemade shortbread before browsing stalls from independent exhibitors. The experience will continue with a three-course lunch and a glass of Prosecco.

The events will run from 9 to 12 November and 16 to 19 November, with additional dates on 25 and 26 November. Overnight packages will also be available.

Lochgreen’s wider programme will include musical afternoon teas, Christmas party nights, Christmas Day dining and a Hogmanay Gala Ball.

The popular Christmas Markets will also return to Seamill Hydro Hotel’s Firth Pavilion on Sunday 15 and Sunday 22 November. Visitors will be able to browse handmade candles, jewellery, accessories, textiles, perfume and confectionery from local Ayrshire businesses.

Festive Ladies’ Days featuring lunch and live entertainment will take place at participating hotels throughout December. Dalmeny Park House Hotel will add a nostalgic theme with its Festive ’80s Revival Ladies’ Lunch, while Brig o’ Doon House Hotel will host a Festive Ladies’ Brunch.

Party nights and family celebrations

Christmas party nights will give friends, colleagues and families the opportunity to dine and dance, with live bands, DJs, festive menus and entertainment planned at participating hotels.

Lochside House Hotel’s party nights will include a three-course meal, live entertainment, a DJ and photobooth. Accommodation and lodge packages will also be available for guests looking to extend their celebrations.

Selected venues, including Radstone Hotel and Dalmeny Park House Hotel, will host festive family lunches and entertainment. Seasonal events for older guests will also feature dining, music and dancing.

Festive dining and winter escapes

Festive menus will be served throughout December, including seasonal afternoon teas and private dining options for celebrations of different sizes.

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day dining will continue the programme, while hotel packages will allow guests to enjoy a seasonal break with the cooking and preparations taken care of.

Lochside House Hotel will offer Christmas and New Year lodge stays for families and groups, with private hot tubs available at selected accommodation.

The programme will continue into Hogmanay with gala dinners, balls and family celebrations at selected hotels. Overnight packages and New Year’s Day dining will also be available.

Aaron Kyle, director at RAD Hotel Group, said:

“People celebrate Christmas in lots of different ways. Some are organising a night out with colleagues, others want a family lunch or a few days away with everything taken care of.

“We’ve brought those occasions together in this year’s programme, with events running from November through to New Year.

“It’s also our first Christmas with Lochgreen as part of RAD, and we’re pleased to welcome its established festive events into the group’s offering.”

Bookings are now open. Full festive programmes, accommodation options and booking information are available on the RAD Hotel Group website.
