April 2024; MasterChef finalist and Inverness-native Sarah Rankin is bringing her brand-new cookbook, Kith, to the Highlands at an exclusive event held at An Talla in Dochgarroch.

Taking place on Friday 3rd May from 6.30-10pm, attendees will have the chance to meet Sarah in person, have their books signed and see her demonstrate some recipes from Kith.

Kith, Sarah’s first cookbook, celebrates Scottish flavours, seasonality, local producers and the joy of cooking for those you love. The book contains over 100 recipes that showcase the richness of Scotland and its exceptional produce.

“As an Invernessian, it’s wonderful to be sharing Kith’s debut in my hometown,” explains Sarah. “My An Talla events are always fabulous evenings and the team always give me and the guests such a warm welcome. I’m looking forward to sharing some recipes from the book in my cookery demonstration and signing copies of the book for those who love Scottish ingredients and cooking as much as I do.”

Copies of Kith will be available to buy at the event, and attendees will also enjoy a welcome drink and a selection of small plates and tasters from the An Talla kitchen team.

Alison Daun, Managing Director of Loch Ness by Jacobite and An Talla, adds: “We can’t wait to welcome Sarah back to An Talla! We’ve been lucky enough to host Sarah twice before, with guests loving the demonstration and enjoying her delicious dishes, so to have her back to launch her first cookbook will be extra special.”

Tickets for the event cost £35. Early booking is advised.
