SHORE The Scottish Seaweed Co. (SHORE) is celebrating a major milestone this summer. The Wick-based firm’s seaweed chips are now available in over 200 supermarkets across Scotland, expanding their reach to more customers.

Key partnerships include:

  • Tesco Scotland: Sweet Sriracha and Lightly Salted 80g share bags in 48 stores.
  • Morrisons: Long-term listing in 46 stores.
  • Asda: Three-month promotional deal in 63 superstores.
  • Go Outdoors: Available in 60 stores nationwide.

This expansion supports SHORE’s mission to provide great-tasting, healthier, and planet-friendly snacks.

Since its 2020 launch, SHORE has sold over two million bags and continues to grow, with significant listings in Sainsbury’s and Scottish Co-op stores.

Keith Paterson, Founder of SHORE, said: “With these new listings, the SHORE brand will now be available to a whole new audience.

“This is a key step in delivering our mission to make local seaweed a sustainable and heathy food of the future.

“This collection of long-term deals is worth well over six figures and will help us continue our fast-paced growth trajectory.

“SHORE chips offer a healthier alternative snack with award-winning taste, a combination that has been central to the brand’s success so far.

“Shoppers are increasingly looking for new exciting flavours and our chips really stand out compared to anything on UK shelves just now.

“It’s an exciting time at SHORE and we look forward to seeing more people enjoying our products.”

SHORE is already stocked in Sainsbury’s and Scottish Co-op stores year-round. The brand was launched in 2020 and has sold more than two million bags of chips to date.
