Success at Scottish Gin Awards for Stirling Distillery

13/11/2023

STIRLING Distillery are celebrating after winning a silver medal in the Gin Liqueur of the Year category at the 7th Annual Scottish Gin Awards with their popular Tropical Triumph liqueur.

Tropical Triumph is a fresh and fruity liqueur with a smooth and refreshing finish. Made with tropical mango, passion fruit, pineapple and lime juices, it is a real treat for the tastebuds. The recommended serves are: over ice with Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic, in the distillery’s twist on a pornstar martini, or add a dash to a glass of sparkling wine.

Created in the summer of 2020 by Laura Barber and Elle McCann, the daughter of owners June and Cameron, the limited edition Tropical Triumph quickly became a favourite with Stirling gin fans so it was made a permanent addition to their gin range. Distillery Manager Elle was at the ceremony to collect the liqueur’s second award having won bronze in the same category in 2021.

Speaking at the ceremony, Elle explained her joy at being recognised for her fruity spirit: “We’re delighted to have received another accolade for our popular Tropical Triumph liqueur. It’s always a favourite with guests at our gin experiences and when we take it to events so we’re delighted the judges liked it too!”.
