THE Secret Sandwich Co. is teaming with The Broughton Bar for its first ‘pop up.’ Festival goers can enjoy The Secret Sandwich Co’s insta-worthy sandwiches at The Broughton Bar every Wednesday through Saturday from today, Wednesday 10th until August 31st.

The great British sarney, like the Fringe Festival, is a true part of British culture and has been a part of our daily lives since we were old enough to carry a lunchbox. Now, festival goers can enjoy a selection of freshly baked baguettes, bagels, and sourdoughs to sky-high stacks packed with mouthwatering fillings.

Whether you’re on the go or looking for a lunchtime treat in one of Edinburgh’s best pub throughout August, The Broughton Bar will serve the best sandwiches in Edinburgh.

The Philly Flyer, Captain Hook, The Cheese Knees, The Reuben, Scots Wha Hae, The Veggiesarus, and The Burgwich are among the menu favourites. Prices from £6.50.

  • The Philly Flyer – Scotch Roast Beef, melted Swiss Cheese and Caramelised Onions on Ciabatta.
  • Captain Hook – Homemade Fish Fingers, Tartare, Lettuce and Pickled Gherkins on fresh Tiger Bread.
  • The Cheese Knees – Mozzarella, Gyuere, Compte and Tomato Relish on Sourdough.
  • The Reuben –  A classic Reuben Pastrami sandwich served on Sourdough.
  • Scots Wha Hae – Haggis with HP Sauce on toasted Sourdough.
  • The Veggiesarus – Roasted Peppers, Courgette, Chilli Hummus and Rocket served on Ciabatta.
  • The Burgwich – Our secret homemade burger served on brioche.

Still feeling peckish or fancy a tipple? Why not add a side of homemade hand cut chips or enjoy a pint of beer with your feast during your visit to the popular neighbourhood bar and restaurant.

Josh King (Pictured) Manager at The Broughton Bar commented:

“Because we know that festival season can leave us all feeling a little peckish, we’re thrilled to host The Secret Sandwich Co this August, giving festival goers a taste of the very best sandwiches that Edinburgh has to offer. The menu has something for everyone, making it the ideal lunchtime treat whether you’re watching a show or stuck in the office. Along with the usual suspects, we’ll have our Secret Sandwich of the Week, which is sure to tantalise your taste buds. One thing is certain: this is a pop up that should not be missed, but act quickly because once they’re gone, they’re gone!”
