The Macallan has unveiled the sixth and final release in its Harmony Collection, introducing two coconut-led single malt Scotch whiskies that bring the series to a close.
Crafted by The Macallan’s Whisky Mastery team, the new expressions – Inspired by Fresh Coconut and Inspired by Toasted Coconut – explore a flavour profile rarely found in the brand’s whiskies. Both have been matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned American oak casks and casks previously used to hold bourbon, with the natural characteristics of American oak helping to draw out coconut notes.
The Harmony Collection, which has explored The Macallan’s connection with the natural world through craftsmanship, creativity and material innovation, concludes with two contrasting expressions designed to complement one another.
Inspired by Fresh Coconut is bottled at 46.3% ABV and will be available domestically. The expression features notes of fresh coconut, citrus and tropical fruit, alongside vanilla, sweet oak and gentle spice. On the palate, it offers coconut milk, zesty lime and soft sweetness, followed by a bright floral finish.
Meanwhile, Inspired by Toasted Coconut will be available through Global Travel Retail partners. It is positioned as the richer of the two releases, with aromas of toasted coconut, crème caramel and white chocolate. Tasting notes include coconut truffle, charred pineapple and frangipane, leading to a long finish of sweet oak and tropical fruit.
Kirsteen Campbell, Master Whisky Maker at The Macallan, said: “With this concluding release in The Harmony Collection, we have carefully guided coconut notes to the forefront of the whisky through precise cask selection and maturation.
“The result is two beautifully balanced expressions that showcase both the natural influence of oak and the skill of our Whisky Mastery team, where each element has been carefully shaped to achieve a harmonious and distinctive character.”
The final chapter of the collection also extends beyond the whisky itself through The Macallan’s TimeSpirit Dining Experience, created in collaboration with Spanish restaurant El Celler de Can Roca.
The experience includes sweet creations by acclaimed pastry chef Jordi Roca, paired with selected whisky serves. Six bespoke cocktails have also been developed to showcase the coconut character in different ways, ranging from bright tropical and citrus-forward profiles to richer, creamier serves.
Jordi Roca said: “Collaborating on this release has been a joyful creative journey. By exploring coconut in its many forms, we have crafted a series of pairings that play with texture, contrast and balance, designed to complement and elevate the whisky in subtle and unexpected ways.”
TimeSpirit is El Celler de Can Roca’s first dining concept outside Spain and follows a partnership between The Macallan and the Roca Brothers spanning more than a decade.

Continuing the collection’s focus on material innovation, the packaging for both whiskies incorporates discarded coconut fibres. The material is processed without emissions and given a naturally textured black finish, reflecting the brand’s aim to find new uses for organic waste materials.

The Macallan Harmony Collection, Inspired by Fresh Coconut, launched on 4 August 2026 at £140 RRP. It is available through The Macallan website, The Macallan Estate Boutique and selected UK retailers including The Macallan Boutique at Harrods, Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, Master of Malt and The Whisky Shop.
The Macallan Harmony Collection, Inspired by Toasted Coconut, is also priced at £140 RRP and is available at selected airports worldwide.
