The Shoregate has launched a five-course tasting menu of flavours from around the world, inspired by Head Chef Craig McAllister’s travels during his career.
This limited-edition menu is available every Thursday to Sunday evening until 14th April.
Following on from the popular Taste of Scotland menu, which ran for six weeks before Christmas, ‘A Chef’s Travels’ is a showcase of chef Craig McAllister’s pedigree of work and play around the world from Ontario to Seoul and culinary hotspots in between.

The tasting menu is available alongside the regular a la carte menu, however, can only be served to the entire table.
Due to the nature of the tasting menu substitutions are not possible but with notice adaptations may be made for allergy or dietary requirements. Bookings can be made directly via the website.
Standing proudly in the centre of Crail, The Shoregate is a coastal gem offering a vibrant space to eat, drink and stay.
The historic 18th-century building has been meticulously restored by Nicholas Frost and Damon Reynolds, opening its doors again in May 2022.
The Shoregate dining room and bar offer a variety of food and drink, using local suppliers and ingredients wherever possible.
