Whisky lovers are being invited to a special charity tasting later this month as The Palmerston teams up with Ardnamurchan Distillery and Adelphi Selection to raise funds for motor neurone disease (MND) research.

On Monday 29 September, the Edinburgh restaurant will host the one-off event from 7pm, with guests guided through six drams from Ardnamurchan and Adelphi’s portfolios.

Leading the session will be Graeme MacKay from Ardnamurchan alongside Antonia Bruce from Adelphi’s sales and blending team.

The line-up will feature whiskies specially selected for the evening, including an exclusive cask sample chosen by MacKay, Murray McDougal, and The Palmerston team during a recent visit to the distillery on the Ardnamurchan peninsula.

Tickets cost £50 per person, with every penny supporting MND research. Following the tasting, an informal whisky auction will take place, offering guests the chance to bid on bottles while boosting funds for the cause.

The Palmerston said the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting research into MND, describing the cause as one close to the restaurant’s heart.

Bookings can be made by contacting hello@thepalmerstonedinburgh.co.uk.
