Sephra Popcorn, the U.K.’s fastest growing and most popular popcorn tub, is now available in over 100 Scotmid Cooperative Stores in Scotland.
Already well known in the UK’s leading supermarkets, with Morrisons and Asda all stocking the popcorn, known for its distinctive striped tub, retail convenience stores are another major sector for Sephra Popcorn.
Sephra Popcorn is currently available in selected SPAR stores, several RS McColl outlets, and in Morrisons UK Convenience Stores.
Seasonal favourites at this time of the year, Sephra Popcorn’s Sticky Toffee Pudding 200g Popcorn, together with Gingerbread Popcorn, also in a 200g tub, are two of the lines taken up by 145 Scotmid stores, along with Sweet, and Salty & Sweet, both in 140g tub sizes, which are on sale in 118 stores.
Commenting on the deal with Scotmid, Callum Bond, Sales & Business Development Manager at Sephra Popcorn said: “Scotmid Cooperative is one of Scotland’s best known brands, a hugely significant name in the convenience store sector. As such, as a company with our Headquarters in Scotland, and as a sponsor of a Scottish football team, Raith Rovers FC, we are thrilled to have brokered this deal which sees them join our growing band of Sephra Popcorn stockists.”
“We look forward to building our relationship with Scotmid, with the potential to add more flavours and variety in the coming months.”
Callum continued by saying that it was important that Sephra Popcorn had a retail presence in both the supermarket and convenience store sectors.
“Being stocked in convenience stores is a key part of our overall business plan, as, situated right in the heart of the community, it’s here, amongst other snack options, and impulse buys, that many customers will first choose Sephra Popcorn. If they like it, they go on to repeat purchase, and build loyalty to the brand.”
He finished by saying: “With Christmas fast approaching, we are pleased to be offering Sticky Toffee Pudding, and Gingerbread, through the Scotmid Stores. They are both warming and indulgent flavours that consumers are looking for at this time of the year.”
Commenting from Scotmid Cooperative, Steven Addison, Local Sourcing Manager, said: “Sephra Popcorn is a fantastic addition to our product lines, a quality popcorn that our customers will enjoy discovering at a great price. All the flavours we have in stock are delicious, with the seasonal varieties of Sticky Toffee, and Gingerbread, particularly worth trying out for festive gatherings, at home movie nights, and celebrations.”
“We are excited to see where our relationship with Sephra Popcorn leads in 2026,”
Sephra Popcorn, instantly recognisable through its distinctive Cinema style foil lined cardboard tub, has been available since 2017 through major UK supermarkets, plus a number of UK wide convenience store chains.
