Don your stripes and cancel your lunch plans – PizzaExpress is once again giving away thousands of free pizzas to celebrate National Pizza Day.

On Monday 9th February, the iconic pizzeria is bringing back its beloved Earn Your Stripes promotion, offering 50,000 free Margherita pizzas to anyone dressed in a black and white striped top. The initiative, which drew huge crowds across the UK last year, returns even bigger in 2026 to mark a special milestone: 50 years of PizzaExpress Live, the brand’s music arm.

Fans can claim a classic Margherita, or opt for vegan or gluten-free alternatives, at PizzaExpress restaurants nationwide. All that’s required is to show up wearing stripes – a tribute to the brand’s signature monochrome design, also sported by its Pizzaiolos.

Lou Jones, Marketing Director at PizzaExpress, said: “Our Earn Your Stripes giveaway has become such a moment for both us and pizza lovers! This year, we’re giving away more pizzas than ever before in celebration of PizzaExpress Live turning the big 5-0, so get those stripes on and join us – there’s never been a better reason for a pizza party on a Monday!”

The one-day giveaway runs on Monday 9th February at PizzaExpress locations nationwide, while stocks last.
