Night-time spectators across Scotland were treated to a surprising sight last night as glowing dragons appeared on landmark buildings in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The striking projections heralded Wingstop UKI’s latest flavour drop, sparking curiosity and excitement among fans of the popular chicken brand.

In Edinburgh, the mythical creatures illuminated the Forth Bridge, Tron Kirk, and Cockburn Street, while Glasgow’s Finnieston Crane, Met Tower, and Barras Market were also transformed into fiery showcases. The vibrant displays lit up the night sky, drawing the attention of passers-by and flooding social media feeds with photos and videos of the spectacle.

The bold stunt marks the countdown to Wingstop’s newest flavour launch – arriving in restaurants from Tuesday, 11 March 2026. Fans are being encouraged to head to their nearest Wingstop on that date to taste the brand’s latest creation first-hand, though details of the new flavour remain a closely guarded secret for now.

Whether you spotted the dragons or not, one thing’s clear: Wingstop is turning up the heat this March.
