Aberdeen Cocktail Week is returning to the city with a special Spring edition, scheduled to take place from 14 to 25 May 2025.
This marks the fourth iteration of the festival, which is expanding beyond its usual October slot to the brighter days of May.
The event promises a curated selection of exclusive cocktails at both established and new bars across Aberdeen.
Participating venues include Dusk, The Firepit, Soul, Revolucion de Cuba, and Under The Hammer. Each venue will offer between one and four signature cocktails crafted by local bartenders.

Wristband holders will have access to exclusive cocktails for £5, with additional options available for £6.
Organisers have extended the festival’s duration to provide more time for attendees to explore the city’s cocktail scene. Wristband holders will receive a printed guidebook to navigate the menus and track their progress as they sample the various cocktails.
Tickets are now available, with early-bird wristbands starting at £7. These wristbands offer access to all festival menus and events throughout the 12-day celebration.
Aberdeen Cocktail Week has been a significant contributor to the local economy since its inception in 2022, attracting large numbers of visitors to the city’s bars and attractions. The event aims to support local hospitality venues during challenging times.

Gregor Sey, organiser of Aberdeen Cocktail Week, said: “Every October we wish we didn’t have to wait another year for cocktail week to return so we’re excited to bring the festival back in May.
“Our regulars told us they wanted more time to explore the city’s cocktail scene and a more focused selection of must-try drinks.
“This feedback inspired us to extend the festival’s duration and present a handpicked collection of standout drinks – allowing guests to appreciate the craftsmanship behind each creation.
“We’re also thrilled to be working alongside Aberdeen Inspired and the Ultimate Masterclass Festival to add our part to the city’s lineup.
“With Louis Theroux and James Corden in town, it’s the perfect opportunity to experience Aberdeen’s cocktail culture.”

The Spring edition is supported by Aberdeen Inspired, the city centre’s Business Improvement District. The festival coincides with the Ultimate Masterclass Festival, creating a citywide celebration that highlights Aberdeen’s cultural offerings.
Cocktail enthusiasts are advised to secure their wristbands early, as early-bird tickets are limited. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit aberdeencocktailweek.com.
