As households across the country gear up for Hogmanay and New Year’s Day celebrations, Aldi Scotland is making it easier than ever to enjoy a true Scottish feast without stretching the budget.

Featuring 1kg Specially Selected Aberdeen Angus Steak Pie for just £8.49, a selection of party bites, premium spirits and indulgent sweet treats, the supermarket’s Hogmanay range brings together some of Scotland’s best-loved flavours at Aldi’s famous everyday amazing value.

Each item selected has been locally produced by food and drink suppliers from across Scotland, as Aldi once again finishes the year as leading supermarket of locally sourced products (NFU Scotland’s ShelfWatch 2025 Mid-Year Report).

Scottish Party Food

This year’s party food lineup features crowd-pleasing classics at unbeatable prices:

Brownings Assorted Buffet Pies (£2.49, 4 pack) combines iconic Scottish flavours such as Brownings’ famous ‘Kilmarnock Pie’ with elevated options including Butter Chicken Pie and Cauliflower, Leek & Truffle Oil.

Bells Steak & Haggis Pies (£1.69, 2 pack) and party-sized Brownings Mini Scotch or Mini Macaroni Pies (both £1.49, 4 pack), round off the Scottish party-favourite pie selection, providing excellent Scottish classics without the premium price tag.

For those looking to spice up the table, Simon Howie’s Sweet Chilli or Curried Haggis Bon Bons (£2.45, 240g) provide a fun twist on the Scottish staple. Meanwhile, the Mixed Pakora Platter (£3.69, 450g) and Chicken Pakora (£2.19, 200g) offer quick, ready-to-serve options ideal for entertaining.

For those toasting the bells, Aldi’s exclusive Specially Selected Glen Marnoch whiskies remain unmatched on value and quality. Choose from classic Highland, Islay or Speyside expressions (£18.49, 70cl) or explore cask-finished editions including Bourbon, Rum or Sherry Cask (£19.99, 70cl).

Gin fans can also pick up a bottle of Comhla Scottish Gin – named the World’s Best Classic Gin at the World Gin Awards 2025 – for just £20.99.

While Aldi’s extensive range of Scottish craft beers start from just £1.65.
