BADACHRO Distillery has announced the return of two popular limited edition whiskies to its range – alongside a brand new sloe gin.
The Highland distillery, nestled on the western Highland coast, has released new bottlings of its popular Ruby Port Cask and Madeira Cask expressions of its signature Bad na h-Achlaise single malts.
The distillery has also unveiled an ultra-limited bottling of sloe gin, with only 160 bottles available to gin fans – as well as a brand new gin-lovers gift set.
Managing director Gordon Quinn said: “Christmas is the season of giving… so we thought it was just the right time to let loose our newest three spirits for those looking for something special this festive period.

“Our Port and Madeira Cask single malts from our experimental cask finish range were so popular in their last releases that we have had many calls for more… and we’re glad to be able to oblige. Our sloe gin, too, is packed full of flavour and something unique to the area.”
Bad na h-Achlaise Port Cask Finish is limited to just 1,800 bottles. Highlighting the Highlands’ soothing side, the single malt is aged in bourbon barrels and refill hogsheads for several years. It is then vatted and filled into handpicked ruby port casks for a final year of maturation.

Two hundred and ten bottles of the Bad na h-Achlaise Madeira Cask Finish expression are available – combining Highland whisky with the complexity and sweetness of fruity, first-fill, individually nosed and selected madeira casks.

Made with a base of the award-winning Badachro Gin, the distillery’s sloe gin is lightly spiced and less sweet than many sloe gins on the market. It makes for the perfect Christmas tipple – and with just 160 bottles available is sure to fly off the virtual shelves.
