Brave New Spirits announce latest release for WhiskyHeroes series

30/08/2024

Glasgow-based independent bottler, blender, and distiller, Brave New Spirits, has unveiled the latest additions to their WhiskyHeroes series.

This new collection features six different bottlings for general release, along with exclusive whiskies for select markets, including the UK and Germany.

Additionally, two single cask rums from Australia and Belize, known as The Rum Rogues, will be available.

Continuing the theme of their earlier releases this year, WhiskyHeroes batch 2 includes single malt and single grain whiskies from various regions and distilleries, such as Tamdhu, Glendullan, Inchgower, and North British.

Each bottle comes with an age statement and has been matured or finished in either Bourbon barrels or a variety of Sherry casks, including PX, Palo Cortado, and Oloroso, providing a diverse array of classic Scotch Whisky flavor profiles.

These whiskies, available as either single cask or small batch releases, will feature bold, colorful WhiskyHeroes labels and edition names inspired by vintage-era adventure novels and artwork.

The launch will be accompanied by both in-person and virtual tastings in collaboration with WhiskyHeroes’ international distribution partners, participation in major whisky festivals across the UK, Europe, and Asia, and bespoke events with whisky clubs and followers of the WhiskyHeroes social media pages.

Recently, whisky enthusiasts in Germany had the opportunity to suggest a name for one of the new releases, with the most popular choice being selected for one of the new offerings there.

A spokesperson for Brave New Spirits said, “We’re looking forward to seeing the new WhiskyHeroes range reaching whisky fans around the world, and to supporting retailers & distributors with their events throughout the busy end of year period.

“The WhiskyHeroes range is now available in more countries than ever before and are also the first releases from Brave New Spirits to be available in countries such as Denmark, Sweden & Uruguay.”
