An Aberdeen extravaganza in celebration of Robert Burns is set to make a welcome return later this week.

Plans are being finalised for the return of the Granite Burns Supper which will take place at Macdonald Norwood Hall Hotel on Friday, 24 January.

As well as traditional and contemporary addresses, the evening will also feature networking opportunities, and a clothing exhibition from The Fountain Scotland’s Tartan Touch range.

In addition will be a variety of entertainment, compered by Steven J. Innes, including music from Bucksburn & District Novice Juvenile Pipe Major Neil Mitchell, dancers from Banchory’s Coutts School of Highland Dancing and more.

An auction, raffle and fun activities will raise funds for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) and Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia & Coloboma Support (MACS), a small national charity that supports people born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes, and their families.

Commenting on the plans for the evening, event creator Brett Jackson of Granite PR said: “We are delighted to announce the return of the Granite Burns Supper to kick off what promises to be another busy year of events.

“We hope that this evening will offer the perfect combination of business and pleasure whilst raising important funds for two very worthwhile causes.”

The Granite Burns Supper 2025 is supported by Caber Coffee, The Dundee Gin Company, The Fountain, galleryi, Loganair, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, Spey Valley Shopping, Styling Chocolate and Tartan Touch.
