As the UK heads to the polls for the general election on July 4, 2024, two well-known brands, Krispy Kreme and BrewDog, are offering enticing incentives to encourage voter participation.

These promotions aim to celebrate democratic engagement and provide a sweet or refreshing treat to those who exercise their right to vote.

BrewDog: Free Pints of Punk IPA or Punk AF

BrewDog, the popular brewery and pub chain, is joining the election day festivities with its “Vote Punk” campaign. Here’s how you can enjoy a free pint:

  • What to do: Take a selfie outside your polling station and show it to the bar staff at any BrewDog pub.
  • Availability: The offer is valid on July 4, 2024, at BrewDog bars across the UK, excluding specific locations such as Edinburgh Airport and Gatwick Airport.
  • Options: You can choose between a pint of Punk IPA (Indian Pale Ale) or Punk AF (alcohol-free).
  • Special Treat for Dogs: If your selfie includes a picture of your dog, BrewDog will also provide a “dog pint” or dog treat for your four-legged friend.

BrewDog’s campaign encourages voters to engage in political discussions and celebrate their democratic freedom over a pint. “We’re toasting voters by giving out pints for everyone who heads to the polls. Meet up with your mates. Argue about politics. Settle your differences over a free pint,” a statement from BrewDog reads.

  • Availability: This offer is valid on July 4, 2024, and is available while stocks last.
  • Locations: The promotion is available at Krispy Kreme’s 131 stores across the UK but excludes outlets in supermarkets, and service stations.
  • Additional Offer: Besides the free doughnut, Krispy Kreme is offering a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just £2 when you purchase any regular-priced dozen.
  • Use the code “DOUGHMOCRACY” when purchasing online or via click and collect.

Both Krispy Kreme and BrewDog are offering unique ways to celebrate election day and encourage voter turnout.

Whether you have a sweet tooth or prefer a refreshing pint, these promotions provide an added incentive to participate in the democratic process.

Remember to head to the polls, cast your vote, and enjoy your free treat!
