With Pride celebrations in full swing across the UK, HEINEKEN UK is proud to announce its new sponsorship of Pride Edinburgh, Scotland’s largest LQBTQIA+ celebration.

Adding a little sparkle and a whole lot of sass to this year’s procession, HEINEKEN UK is appointing Drag Race UK royalty, Lawrence Chaney, and broadcaster extraordinaire, Tiara Skye, as its official Pride ambassadors.

The Queens will sashay their way through Edinburgh on Saturday 20 June, heading up HEINKEN UK’s 100-colleague-strong parade as it makes its way from Horse Wynd to Bristo Square under the banner ‘Brewing with Love’.

Lawrence, the first and only Scottish winner of hit phenomenon RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, will don her iconic (and unmissable) bagpipe hat for the march – only fitting for celebrations in the Scottish capital. She’ll be flanked by ‘Street Walker and Queer Talker’ Tiara Skye, famed for her viral mini-mic street interviews that take social media by storm.

Ensuring no one could possibly miss them, the fabulously flamboyant parade will be accompanied by a booming brass band and, of course, bagpipes, playing pop bangers from beginning until end, keeping vibes sky high.

HEINEKEN UK’s sponsorship of Pride Edinburgh follows partnerships with Manchester in 2025 and Brighton in 2023 and 2024, further cementing the company’s commitment to inclusion, equity and diversity.

With roots in the city dating as far back as 1793, the partnership with Pride Edinburgh is also a symbol of HEINEKEN’s commitment to the city and Scotland. With 225 pubs and over 500 colleagues across Scotland, Edinburgh is also home to HEINEKEN UK’s HQ, which presides in prime city centre location, St Andrews Square. The move comes fresh off the back of plans to invest £4.5million in its Scottish pubs this year.

Marta Martins Pinto, People Director for HEINEKEN UK says: “Creating a culture where everyone feels they belong is hugely important to us at HEINEKEN UK. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Pride Edinburgh and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, along with the joy, visibility and togetherness that Pride represents. With our UK headquarters in Edinburgh, being part of this year’s celebrations feels especially meaningful for our colleagues and business.”

Jamie Love, Marketing Director for Pride Edinburgh comments: “We’re thrilled to welcome HEINEKEN UK to Pride Edinburgh. As one of Scotland’s leading employers, their support sends a powerful message about the importance of creating inclusive spaces where colleagues, customers and communities can feel valued and respected. Our organisations share a commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging, and we’re excited to welcome the HEINEKEN team to march with us and celebrate Pride on the 20th of June.”

HEINEKEN UK’s sponsorship of Pride Edinburgh reflects the company’s commitment to creating a workplace where 2,100 colleagues feel they truly belong and can be themselves. Guided by its Brew a Better World strategy and purpose of brewing the joy of true togetherness, HEINEKEN UK supports inclusion across the business through leadership, policies, training and wellbeing, as well as colleague-led networks covering age, race and ethnicity, disability, LGBTQIA+ and gender.
