NQ64 Arcade Bar, Glasgow’s neon-lit retro arcade bar is celebrating its third birthday in the city this month with a brand new Bottomless Gaming challenge, inventive cocktails and expanded daytime operating hours.

Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, starting from this weekend (Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th March), NQ64 guests can enjoy unlimited gaming for 90mins when they book their new Supercharge Your Weekend offer, complete with four cocktails or drinks of choice for only £40 per person.

And, NQ64 is also offering a special birthday challenge for guests to try as many games as possible within the 90-minute window for the chance to win a range of quirky prizes, from free space raiders crisps and retro medals to feather boas and more as they mark turning three in true NQ64 style.

Grab your pals and test your skills on fan-favourite arcade games like Guitar Hero, Dance Mat, Time Crisis, Pac-Man, Mario Kart, Point Blank, and a variety of nostalgic pinball machines. Whether you’re battling friends or just having a laugh, there’s no better way to level up your weekends in the immersive underground basement of NQ64.

With unlimited gaming for 90 minutes, the challenge is all about exploring as many games as you can in that window, fitting in everything from the fast-paced action of Time Crisis to the more strategic play of Pac-Man.

For those looking for a twist on classic cocktails, NQ64’s menu also celebrates gaming nostalgia. Fans of Super Mario’s Princess Peach can sip on a playful take on a Sex on the Beach with Absolut vanilla vodka, raspberry, blood orange, cranberry, pineapple, and peaches & cream foam.

Or enjoy a Donkey Kong-themed King Kooler, made with Havana rum, Caribbean pineapple, and pina colada iced glitter tea. In addition to these fun creations, the venue offers a selection of classic cocktails such as espresso martinis to margaritas, and even Hooch or Red Stripe straight from the fridge.

Speaking about the new gaming initiative, Jason Magee, Area Manager for NQ64 Glasgow said: “Our first three years in Glasgow have been mega, and we wanted to mark the occasion by launching a brand new, exclusive offer for NQ64 Glasgow.

After updating our licence to allow earlier opening hours, our Supercharge Weekends offers a unique daytime experience for those fancying something a bit different to the norm. Enjoy our arcade-themed cocktails whilst giving it the big one on Guitar Hero, Dance Mat or whatever your gaming fix is. No skill required, we’re just buzzing to welcome anyone who’s up for it!”
