Award-winning pies will be on the McDiarmid Park matchday menu next season after Pie Sports announced a new partnership with St Johnstone Football Club.
The partnership will see Pie Sports, who are also kiosk catering providers at Falkirk, St Mirren and Partick Thistle, take over the running of refreshments for fans on matchdays, providing a range of classic football fayre as well as their own delicious creations.
In advance of the upcoming season, Pie Sports are making a significant investment in a complete remake of all McDiarmid Park kiosks, with the partnership also set to bring a number of new jobs to the club and the city.
Alongside traditional favourites such as scotch, steak and gravy, and macaroni pies, also available will be Pie Sports’ award-winning pies such as their chicken chasni pie and kebab pie.
Both were recognised at the recent 2025 Scotch Pie World Championships, with the kebab pie winning Scottish Football Pie of the Year and the chicken chasni receiving a gold award. Every home matchday at McDiarmid Park will feature a special pie of the month, rotating throughout the season.

Francis Smith, CEO of St Johnstone FC, said: “We’re excited to be welcoming Pie Sports to the St Johnstone family as we push forward with our commitment to enhance fan experience at McDiarmid Park.
“As part of the deal, our current kiosks have been undergoing much-needed refurbishment and remodelling over the past few weeks – and I’m sure supporters will notice a positive difference when they return in July.”
Joe Aitken, director at Pie Sports, said: “Everyone at Pie Sports is thrilled to be partnering with St Johnstone Football Club and excited to bring our award-winning matchday menu to McDiarmid.
“Working with St Johnstone has been a positive experience already and now it’s all about working together to put everything in place ahead of the new season. Supporters at Falkirk, St Mirren and Partick Thistle have all enjoyed our award-winning matchday offering in recent seasons – we can’t wait to bring that to St Johnstone fans too.”
The new Pie Sports kiosks will be in operation ahead of St Johnstone’s first home pre-season friendly this summer, against Falkirk on Tuesday, 8 July.
