1881 Distillery’s award-winning streak continues with three of its gins recognised in the Gin Guide Awards 2022 following four awards in this year’s London Spirits Competition.

Its Honours Gin, which is the brand’s navy strength gin, was a winner in the High ABV Gin category.

The Hydro London Dry, was recognised in the Traditional Gin category and Tiffin Gin was a Spiced Gin winner.

Honours Gin is named in honour of those injured during WWII, a time when Peebles Hydro served as a military hospital, while Hydro Gin is inspired by Shieldgreen spring in the grounds of the hotel and Tiffin Gin was initially developed to accompany an Indian concept menu offered at Peebles Hydro.

Charlie Leckie, Brand Manager for 1881 Distiller, said: “I am delighted to see three of our gins recognised, especially as it comes hot on the heels of four London Spirits Competition awards.”

“We have a fantastic team and their enthusiasm and hard work really helps make our gins special.”

The Gin Guide Awards is a yearly event which celebrates spirits, distilleries, and distillers globally.
