Edible baubles and deliciously deceptive cheese are just two of the surprises on The Fat Duck’s Yuletide menu, which this year – due to high demand – will be available from November.

The three-Michelin-star restaurant has an unmatched reputation for creating dramatic, magical, and surprising dishes, making it supremely suited to serving a Christmas menu worthy of the season and full of wonderment.

Christmas 2024 will be no different. For its 30th year, The Fat Duck will offer its best gastronomic gift ever, kicking off with nitro-poached aperitifs and finishing with the restaurant’s legendary Sweetshop (given a few festive twists).

In between, diners will go on a beguiling journey of indulgence and nostalgia, involving truffled egg, smoked salmon and buttered toast, Wagyu short rib mince pies, and Black Forest Gateau with festive spices.

Open for bookings now, The Fat Duck’s Christmas menu will be one of the highlights of the season, an exquisite, exciting, exceptional experience.

Heston Blumenthal OBE, founder of The Fat Duck, said: “Christmas is such an important time of the year for many of us, filled with joy, excitement, surprises, nostalgia, and rituals. It brings out the big kid in all of us.

“These kinds of feelings and emotions are exactly what we try to evoke through food at The Fat Duck, so it’s a perfect match – an opportunity for me and the team to create a meal that’s truly wonderful.”

He added, “And I want everybody to have the chance to enjoy it so, while it might seem early to be talking about Christmas, this year The Fat Duck will start serving its festive menu from November. I promise you it’ll be an incredible experience.

“There’ll be sprouts, chocolate, guilty pleasures, edible baubles and Buck’s Fizz, not to mention a golden carrot. Yule love it!”
