Glasgow’s acclaimed modern Scottish restaurant, The Gannet, is set to collaborate with MacNeil Shellfish for an extraordinary seafood lunch event next month.
This partnership marks the launch of The Gannet’s new series of Sunday summer events and MacNeil Shellfish’s first restaurant collaboration.
Scheduled for Sunday, August 4th, from 12 to 4 pm, the exclusive six-course seafood feast will showcase the finest offerings from Scotland’s seas.
Chef patron Peter Mckenna has crafted a menu that highlights the exceptional quality and taste of Scottish seafood, prepared with The Gannet’s renowned finesse and creativity.

MacNeil Shellfish, known for its commitment to sustainable practices, sources wild, creel-caught delicacies from nearly 600 local suppliers across Scotland.
Their selection includes crab, lobster, and langoustine, setting a high standard for responsible shellfish sourcing.
The menu promises a range of mouthwatering dishes, including:
- XL Langoustine carpaccio with crisp langoustine and lemon
- House-baked bread served with rich lobster butter
- Brown Crab beignet with apple
- Spider crab with fresh peas and a hint of wasabi
The star of the show will be locally creel-caught lobster, poached in butter and paired with Barra cockles, potato dumplings, pickled pink peppercorns, and Ayrshire girolles.
This dish exemplifies the best of Scottish seafood.
To conclude the meal, diners will enjoy Perthshire strawberries with cream fraiche and dill, offering a refreshing finale to this stunning seafood experience.
