The Old Bank is offering a range of desserts

NEW café The Old Bank is embracing the spirit of an old investment bank that once stood on its grounds.

The Old Bank opened to the public on the 17th of July at 110 Battlefield Road, Glasgow, serving up a unique menu from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on weekends.

They are planning on holding a Grand Launch on the 23rd on the site of a bank that goes back to 1938.

As part of the Grand Launch they are inviting the public to take advantage of a special offer of a free chocolate brownie and a free coffee with either organic or oat milk. This offer will last from 11am while stocks last.

A DJ will be in the café all day to entertain customers looking for a free brownie.

The food pays homage to the original Lahore cafes and traditional breakfast, lunch and coffees. The interior of the café brings together the original bank and influences of the old Lahore cafes with the décor and unique dishes like Naanwich, cheesy naan melts, gyros, naanizza and Masala chips.

They serve high-quality, freshly made food, using organic eggs and organic sourdough bread.

Their coffee is freshly roasted each morning at a local Glasgow coffee roasting house. It’s then packed and delivered to the cafe. They grind the coffee beans and serve aromatic, fresh coffee as you’ve never tasted before.

In addition to their coffee, they provide freshly made cakes, desserts and Gelato from local independent businesses in Glasgow.

The cafe is sure to change the taste buds in southside with a wee bit of history, so patrons are sure to bank on a great spot there!
