Gordon Street location will create around 20 new jobs
Black Sheep Coffee is set to open a new store at 90-92 Gordon Street, Glasgow, on Tuesday 27th October 2026, bringing its signature coffee offering to the heart of the city centre. Located moments from Glasgow Central Station, the new store will cater to commuters, office workers, local residents, and visitors. The opening will create around 20 new jobs.
The new positions contribute to the 150 jobs supported by the franchisees’ Black Sheep Coffee operation. For the Glasgow-born franchisees, the investment reflects their commitment to creating local employment opportunities and continuing to invest in the city where they grew up.
The franchise partner commented: “We’re excited to bring Black Sheep Coffee to Gordon Street, right in the heart of Glasgow. The response to our existing stores has given us real confidence to keep investing in the city, and this opening is another important step in our growth. We look forward to welcoming commuters, local workers and visitors for great coffee and a warm Glasgow welcome.”
Designed primarily as a grab-and-go destination, the site will offer 20 internal seats with additional outdoor seating, alongside convenient takeaway options for customers on the move. The new store has been designed to complement the character of its surroundings, retaining elements of the building’s external masonry and stonework while bringing some of its traditional features into the interior.
