Whisky Week returns to Aberdeen from 21 to 31 August, turning the city into a walkable distillery-tour for ten-days and is perfect for anyone who is looking to try something new or perhaps find their new favourite whisky bar.
Forget your perceptions of whisky being stuck in stuffy rooms and tweed jackets – Whisky Week is all about accessibility and sharing a dram with pals as you explore Aberdeen’s finest bars.
With your festival wristband, you’ll get access to exclusive Whisky Week menus, guided tastings, tours, and one-off events – plus a printed guidebook to track your journey. The wristband is available now for just £6 (early-bird offer which ends soon) and is valid for the full 10 days, so you can dip in and out as often as you like.

Every bar has partnered with a distillery or brand, offering a mini whisky experience under their roof. For those just wanting an excuse to explore some new bars on a budget, every bar will have at least one dram on offer for £5 or less. For example Cutty Sark Prohibition, Royal Brackla 12 and Port Askaig 8 are all priced at just £4.50 each and for those looking to try something unique, there are special releases and harder to find drams on offer such as Springbank 15 Year Old, Glen Moray 2015 Peated Fino Sherry Cask, Balvenie French Oak 16, Bunnahabhain 17 Year Old 2007 and Glendronach 15 featured on the exclusive Whisky Week menus.
