The offer is valid to buy both the Advance Discount Wristband (usually £7.95) and the Final Release Wristband (usually £9.95). The regular £1.50 booking fee applies to all wristbands purchased.

Once purchased online, individuals can pick up their wristbands from the VisitScotland Perth iCentre on Perth High Street or St John’s Bar and Restaurant on King Edward Street.

More than 30 bars, restaurants, cafés and venues are taking part in the cocktail week. Those involved include Brown & Blacks, BrewDog, Dean’s, Giraffe Café, Kisa’s, Sidhu’s, St John’s Bar & Restaurant, The Bothy and The Giddy Goose.

Other local businesses taking part in the event include hair and beauty salon, Charlie Taylor, and Jessica Jay Salon.

Organisers of Perth Cocktail Week, Scottish marketing firm M.ad Agency, are certain the collaboration with Mi Rewards will further support their mission to drive footfall into Perth’s city centre and support local businesses.

Director of M.ad Agency, Alice Christison, said: “We created Perth Cocktail Week to drive footfall into the city centre, encouraging the public to support local hospitality at traditionally quieter times of the year. Our Cocktail Week events have been incredibly popular in Dundee and St Andrews and are a great way for locals and visitors alike to experience all that the city has to offer.

“Perth is home to many brilliant local businesses and the event will showcase a range of venues including bars, restaurants, pubs and more. Alongside the signature cocktails and exclusive offers from venues, there will also be hair and beauty deals for wristband holders to take advantage of.

“Partnering with Mi Rewards on this exclusive £5 offer for a Perth Cocktail Week wristband supports our joint mission to promote local businesses and help Perth’s city centre thrive.”

Mi Rewards relaunched in Perth in March this year with a focus on exclusive local offers from businesses in the city. Users earn points for shopping locally to spend them on exclusive offers of their choice.

Colin Munro, managing director of Miconex, said: “Perth Cocktail Week is set to be a fantastic event, bringing buzz and excitement to the city. When we heard about the event and the innovative approach M.ad Agency is taking to drive footfall in our high streets across Scotland, we knew it would be a fantastic fit for Mi Rewards.

“Mi Rewards gives users a front row seat to the best offers in town and the Perth Cocktail Week wristband for £5 is a great offer. The 35 point sign up bonus for new Mi Rewards users means people can instantly buy their Perth Cocktail Week wristband and start experiencing the benefits that shopping local can bring.”

Individuals can sign up for Mi Rewards free. For more information on Perth Cocktail Week visit perthcocktailweek.co.uk
