Pop superstar Justin Bieber continued to make the most of his trip to Scotland by enjoying one of the nation’s favourite tipples.

The singer posted pictures giving a thumbs-up to – and licking – a bottle of Innis & Gunn, which was recently named Scotland’s best lager at the World Beer Awards for the second year running.

The post – a carousel of four different images of him enjoying the beer at sunset – is fast approaching one million likes in a matter of hours.

The updated posted during the wee hours of the morning is the most popular of his surprise trip to Scotland, which has already included an impromptu performance for staff at Gleneagles.

Innis & Gunn has been named best in Scotland for the second year running at the World Beer Awards.

Among the thousands of comments, one user wrote: “Is that an Innis & Gunn I see – you lucky sod!” Another replied: “Best beer ever 🔥 @InnisandGunn.” A third added: “Welcome to Scotland  Lil Homie 🤜🤛 Innis & Gunn!! Good choice 👏👏.”

Founded in Edinburgh in 2003, Innis & Gunn’s lagers and beers have grown into one of Scotland’s most successful exports, enjoyed both home and abroad.

Founder and Master Brewer Dougal Sharp said: “I can’t bloody Beliebe it! It’s safe to say I didn’t expect to wake up this morning to see those pictures. I’m glad Justin seems to be enjoying our beers, just as many people around the world do.

“Our lager is proudly brewed in Scotland and, for an authentic experience during Justin’s visit, there really is no other option. He’s more than welcome in one of our taprooms for unlimited steak frites any time.”
