The Ivy Asia has unveiled the dishes and cocktails heading to Glasgow as it prepares to open its first Scottish restaurant on 20 October.
The restaurant will open at 30–40 St Vincent Place, bringing an Asian-inspired menu of sushi, sashimi, small plates and larger dishes to the city.
Dishes will be served sharing-style, allowing diners to sample a range of flavours, alongside a cocktail list featuring Japanese spirits and tropical fruit.
Among the signature dishes is Golden Aromatic Duck, served with steamed pancakes, cucumber, spring onion and hoisin sauce. Other options include “Black Cod” Miso, featuring Alaskan sablefish marinated and glazed in miso for 48 hours before being slow-roasted, and Char Siu Pork Belly.

Small plates include Gochujang Glazed Chicken, Ebi Prawn Tempura Nahm Jim and Pork and Kimchi Gyoza. The menu also features the Ivy Asia “Silver Shell” centrepiece, while dessert options include The Samurai.
Diners looking to try a selection of dishes can opt for the Experience menu, priced at £70 per person. A vegetarian version costs £60 per person, with both menus requiring a minimum of two diners.
Cocktails start at £12.25, with options including the Mango Sling and a Watermelon and Strawberry Margarita made with tequila, watermelon, strawberry and yuzu.
The Fire Gimlet combines Japanese gin, sake, elderflower, hot honey and cucumber. Japanese whiskies, sake and wines will also be available.
Simon Gregory, group executive chef at The Ivy Collection, said: “The food is a huge part of what makes The Ivy Asia such a distinctive experience. The menu draws on influences from across Asia, bringing together different ingredients, flavours and cooking techniques, from the heat of gochujang to the richness of slow-cooked dishes.
“The sharing-style concept means guests can try a range of dishes in one sitting, moving between different flavours and discovering new favourites along the way.
“We’re looking forward to bringing this experience to Scotland for the first time and giving Glasgow diners the opportunity to explore the menu for themselves.”
The restaurant will occupy the former City of Glasgow Bank building alongside the relocated Ivy Glasgow Brasserie.
Built between 1870 and 1873, the St Vincent Place building features a former banking hall inspired by Renaissance Florence. The two restaurants will accommodate more than 250 diners in total.

The Ivy Glasgow Brasserie has moved from its previous Buchanan Street premises, with its new setting also offering a terrace and private dining room.
