Duck & Waffle Edinburgh is turning three this February and invites the city to celebrate in signature style with a three-day Duck Hunt and 33 prizes hidden across St James Quarter.

From Friday 6th to Sunday 8th February 2026, guests are encouraged to explore the shopping centre in search of Red and Gold Ducks, each unlocking delicious rewards at Duck & Waffle Edinburgh. Over the three days, the restaurant will give away complimentary Duck & Waffle dishes and a show-stopping Golden Duck prize each day.

Hidden throughout participating stores, the ducks will be waiting to be discovered by sharp-eyed shoppers and food lovers alike. Lucky finders can redeem their prize at Duck & Waffle Edinburgh on the same day, making it the perfect excuse to turn the hunt into a celebratory meal.

To get the hunt underway, daily clues will be shared on Duck & Waffle Edinburgh’s instagram in the lead-up to the birthday weekend, guiding locals and visitors alike on where to begin their search.

10 winners per day will receive a complimentary Duck & Waffle dish, redeemable on the day.

  • Golden Ducks – 3 winners total

One winner per day will receive a free meal for two, redeemable on the day (T&Cs apply)
