Duncan Farms, the Scottish family farming business, has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Co-op, with Duncan’s Eggs set to roll out to 152 stores across Scotland. The expanded listing represents a major increase from the current 23 stores.

As part of the rollout, 132 Co-op stores will also begin stocking Duncan’s Eggs Organic Free Range, marking the return of the organic range to UK retail. Co-op will be the only retailer to stock the organic product.

The expanded listing reflects the continued growth and success of the Duncan’s Eggs brand and this fast-growing area of the Duncan Farms business. Shoppers will be able to find a mix of Duncan’s Eggs core Free Range and Organic Free Range eggs across Co-op stores, increasing access to Scottish-produced, welfare-led food choices.

Rachael Duncan, owner of Duncan Farms, said: “Expanding our partnership with Co-op is a hugely positive step for Duncan Farms and demonstrates the growing demand for Duncan’s Eggs. We’re excited to be reaching more shoppers who are looking for traceable, nutritious Scottish free range eggs.”

“Launching our Organic Duncan’s Eggs with Co-op is a particularly exciting development. It’s fantastic to have Co-op’s support as we grow the Duncan’s Eggs range and offer customers more choice.”

Produced in line with certified organic standards, Duncan’s Eggs Organic are laid at a small number of carefully selected organic free range farms in Aberdeenshire and Moray. As with all Duncan’s Eggs, every egg is fully traceable back to the farm of origin via the Duncan’s Eggs egg tracker.

The organic range reinforces Duncan Farms’ long-standing commitment to higher welfare and transparent farming practices. The exclusive listing with Co-op highlights a shared focus on ethical sourcing and support for British producers.

Katie Schofield, Senior Buying Manager – Local at Co-op said: “We’re delighted to be expanding our partnership with Duncan Farms. As a member-owned retailer, we’re committed to backing British farming, supporting local producers and offering our customers high-quality, ethical choices.”

“Duncan’s Eggs share our focus on transparency, animal welfare and doing the right thing for communities, so we’re proud to bring both their free range and exclusive organic range to even more Co-op stores across the UK. This expansion strengthens our commitment to offering great-tasting, responsibly sourced Scottish produce to our members and customers.”

The expanded listings are expected to roll out from 10 February.
