Horizons Restaurant at Pettycur Bay Holiday Park has introduced a festive menu featuring produce from suppliers across Fife and Scotland.
The Christmas Fayre menu will be available daily from 1 to 24 December between noon and 9pm. The restaurant, which overlooks the Firth of Forth, is open to the public as well as guests staying at the holiday park.
Created by head chef James McKay, the menu uses produce from businesses including David Lowrie Fish Merchants, Stuarts Butchers & Bakery in Buckhaven, John Henderson Butchers in Glenrothes, Fife Creamery and Fisher & Donaldson in St Andrews.
Starter options include soup of the day, king prawn Marie Rose and an Applewood smoked Cheddar and leek tart served with caramelised onion chutney.
A smoked chicken liver and brandy parfait, accompanied by toasted sourdough and tomato chutney, will also be available.
Main courses include baked fillet of salmon, medallions of pork fillet and a woodland mushroom and spinach tart. Diners looking for a traditional option can choose roast turkey served with seasonal accompaniments.
Janet Murray, general manager of Pettycur Bay Holiday Park, said the menu was designed to provide a mixture of familiar festive dishes and alternative options.

She said: “There’s a dish for everyone, whether you’re a traditionalist or looking for something a little bit different, such as our Cheddar and leek tart or salmon with lightly curried cauliflower purée and toasted almonds.”
Horizons Restaurant has previously received VisitScotland’s Taste Our Best award, which recognises businesses that include Scottish produce on their menus and provide information about its origins.
