New permanent core expression available from 1 October with £85 RRP.
Independent bottler Whisky Craft will launch First Light, its first permanent core expression, a 21 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, on 1 October 2026. The new release will have a UK RRP of £85.
First Light provides Whisky Craft with an ongoing expression to complement its seasonal single-cask collections. For retailers and hospitality venues, the release brings together a 21-year age statement, an accessible price point, and versatility across different pours.
The whisky is fully matured in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV. Its flavour profile includes vanilla, honeyed sweetness, soft fruit, and gently warming oak spice, resulting in a smooth, rounded character that combines mature depth with an approachable style.
Whisky Craft has developed First Light as a premium house pour for premium bars, hotels, and restaurants. The spirit is designed to be smooth and approachable enough to introduce guests to mature single malt, with the age and character suitable for enjoyment neat, over ice, served long, or in cocktails.

Sonny Charles, founder of Whisky Craft, commented, “Whisky Craft is an independent bottler, but our ambition has always been to build a modern whisky house. First Light is an important step in that development, giving our customers a permanent expression they can return to time and again.”
Launching concurrently with First Light is Season Five, which continues Whisky Craft’s single-cask collections. Highlights from this collection include a 40 Year Old Tullibardine, a PX-finished 17 Year Old Fettercairn, and an Oloroso-finished 14 Year Old Glen Garioch.
The launch of First Light and Season Five will be marked with a celebratory event at Bonnie & Wild in Edinburgh on Thursday 1 October 2026.
