Falkirk Venue Targets Scotland’s Growing Meetings Market

Rosebank Distillery, based in Falkirk, has introduced a new corporate hire offering, expanding its services into Scotland’s meetings and events market. The distillery, described as home to The World’s Best Whisky and Whisky Tourism Destination of the Year, now provides private meeting rooms, conference facilities, and exclusive venue hire for corporate functions and client entertainment. The distillery, which reopened in 2024 following extensive restoration, aims to offer businesses a distinctive setting.

Its design combines contemporary architectural elements with the character and heritage of its original buildings. The new glass-fronted still house and meticulously restored warehouses can accommodate events for up to 80 guests. For smaller gatherings, the Rosebank Academy and Lounge Rooms provide dedicated meeting space for up to 18 delegates and conference facilities for up to 40. All corporate spaces are equipped with modern AV technology, Wi-Fi, and full event support, alongside free on-site parking. Private events can be enhanced with guided distillery tours and whisky tastings, including the opportunity to sample the Rosebank 31 Year Old Lowland Single Malt.

This whisky won ‘Best in Show’ at the San Francisco World’s Spirits Competition in 2025 and is known as the World’s Best Whisky. Steven Arnott, Brand Home General Manager at Rosebank, stated: “Since reopening in 2024, we’ve welcomed visitors from around the world to experience Rosebank Distillery. The launch of our corporate offering is a natural next step in the site’s development, enabling more organisations to make use of this remarkable venue. As demand grows for experience-led events, we’re pleased to offer businesses a distinctive setting that combines world-class whisky, contemporary facilities, and the rich heritage of one of Scotland’s most iconic distilleries.”

Rosebank Distillery was originally founded in 1840 and was acquired by family-owned drinks company Ian Macleod Distillers in 2017. The development, led by MLA Architects, received awards for architectural excellence and regeneration. The launch of the corporate offering marks the latest stage in the distillery’s development, broadening its appeal to corporate audiences as demand grows for experience-led business events.
