CHOPSTIX , the nation’s favourite noodle bar chain, has today canned three of its most popular dishes. But fear not, Chopstix fans, as they’re not being scrapped.

The chain has released three of its most popular dishes – Sweet and Sour Chicken, Sweet Chilli Prawns, and Caramel Drizzle Chicken – in cans, which have been designed to stay fresh for over 50 years.

Canning lines have been installed in the Chopstix Aberdeen outlet, ensuring the freshness can be locked in straight away at the time of order and reheated at a later date.

Featuring three mouth-watering and delicious flavours and retailing at £3.99 each, the brand is sure that the cans will be firm foodie favourites, and says they have even had requests to serve them up during the biggest events of the year, from Wimbledon to the King’s Coronation.

The cans are available from Saturday 1st April and are available at the Aberdeen store and 90+ locations around the country or via online delivery services.

A spokesperson for Chopstix said: “We’ve consistently had customers ask for their favourite dishes to be tinned to be taken away so they can be enjoyed later in the week, at weddings, birthdays and even enjoyed over Christmas in years to come.

“Plus, they’re even great to give as gifts as the variety of flavours mean they’re perfect for just about anyone.

“This new product line does exactly what it says on the tin – and this new addition to the Chopstix menu means we can deliver faster, fresher and tastier food – even for those who want to save their meal for a rainy day.”
