A family run business which is onto its third generation, the Horizons Restaurant is open to everybody, not just residents or holiday makers on the park. Additionally catering for guests at The Bay Hotel which is also on the park, it’s become a very popular place in Fife for celebrating all sorts of occasions, including Christmas.

Horizons “Festive Fayre” runs every day from December 1st, to the 23rd, offering two courses for £24.95, (a starter and a main, with a dessert available at an additional cost if desired.)

The menu, put together by Head Chef, James McKay, who delighted TV viewers with chef whites emblazoned with “Rock Star Chef” on the back, features locally sourced produce, including fish from Pittenweem, patisserie from Fisher & Donaldson, and East Neuk berries.

Four choices are an offer for main course, from traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings, to pan seared pork, apple & cranberry sausages, baked brie and beetroot tart, and a herb crusted fillet of salmon on a bed of ratatouille, with roast potatoes.

“Keeping our prices affordable means many more families and friends can get together to enjoy a festive meal in the hectic run-up to Christmas,” said Janet Murray, General Manager of Pettycur Bay Holiday Park.

“Horizons dresses up beautifully at Christmas, it’s a stunning venue to choose at this time of the year. We are delighted to be one of the most accessible and popular dining venues in the area. The loyalty shown by our clientele who return year after year, is very much appreciated.”
