Ben Lomond Gin Launches Trail in St Andrews for AIG Women’s Open

Ben Lomond Gin, the Official Gin of The AIG Women’s Open, has introduced an exciting Gin Trail in St Andrews ahead of the prestigious golf tournament.

Highlighting six of the town’s most iconic bars, Ben Lomond’s Gin Trail extends the celebrations beyond the fairways, offering visitors the opportunity to explore a selection of specially curated cocktails that capture the adventurous spirit of the home of golf.

Golf and gin enthusiasts can savour a selection of exquisite gin cocktails, crafted in collaboration with St Andrews’ most talented mixologists.

Driven by a passion for exploring new possibilities in gin-based drinks, each recipe is created with an adventurous spirit and celebrates the diverse art of cocktail making.

Gin aficionados will embark on a journey of discovery through the endless possibilities of gin, with a variety of cocktails including The Game Changer – the Official Serve of the AIG Women’s Open, curated by PGA Professional Golfer Hannah Davies.

This cocktail features fresh lemon, mint, ginger, pressed apple juice, sparkling lemon soda, and Ben Lomond Gin Original.

Several of St Andrews’ most iconic venues will offer these exciting cocktails during the tournament, including the renowned Rusacks Hotel, whose rooftop bar overlooks the 18th hole of the Old Course. The trail also includes Rouge, The Criterion, The Keys, The Rule, and The Physician.

In addition to offering specially crafted cocktails, each location will stock Ben Lomond Gin Original – the brand’s signature London Dry gin made with a blend of 11 botanicals – as well as a selection of its flavoured gins.

This year marks the second year of Ben Lomond Gin’s partnership with The AIG Women’s Open Returning to Scotland this year to St Andrews, it will be held from 21 to 25 of August.

The Scottish drinks brand will also have a dedicated bar within the tournament’s Festival Village, where visitors can collect a Gin Trail Score Card before venturing along the trail.

It’s The Lomond Garden will offer the full range of Ben Lomond Gin and serve options. It will also host gin masterclasses and boasts a dedicated gin shop, where bottle engraving is available.
