Rutherglen-based, Equi’s Ice Cream is celebrating scooping two prestigious accolades this week: a Silver Medal at the Ice Cream Alliance Awards and the Marketing Award at the CeeD Awards.

Equi’s Biscoff Crunch flavour earned a Silver Medal at the Ice Cream Alliance Awards, a prestigious competition that celebrates the best of UK ice cream. The awards are known for their rigorous judging process, recognising only the highest standards in the industry. Equi’s exceptional Biscoff Crunch flavour stood out to the judges and came out cream of the crop.

In addition to the Ice Cream Alliance success, Equi’s Ice Cream was awarded the Marketing Award at the CeeD (Centre for Engineering, Education and Development) Awards.

This recognises the innovative and impactful work behind Equi’s recent rebrand, which aimed to highlight their fine Scottish product enriched with Italian heritage and flair.

Winning this award is the cherry on top of an already sweet rebrand from Equi’s, reflecting the company’s passion for crafting premium ice cream that blends local Scottish quality with the timeless tradition of Italian gelato craftsmanship.

David Equi, owner of Equi’s Ice Cream, said:“We’re absolutely thrilled to be recognised with both a Silver Medal for our Biscoff Crunch and the Marketing Award for our rebrand.

These awards are a testament to the hard work and passion of our team and show that we’re winning across the board—from delivering exceptional products to creating a compelling brand experience.

The CeeD award is a reflection of the collective effort that went into reshaping the future of Equi’s. A huge thank you to our partners that helped bring this vision to life. We are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and are excited for what’s to come.”
