Dough & Co, a well-loved doughnut shop in Aberdeen, is excited to announce the launch of its brand-new coffee morning disco event. This unique social gathering aims to bring people together in a fun and relaxed environment, offering great music, unlimited drinks, and delicious treats.

Good Morning Aberdeen will take place on Saturday, 1 March, from 10am to 12pm, providing a fresh and alternative way for people to connect. Tickets are now available for purchase through the event page on Skiddle, and the first five attendees will receive a special goodie bag packed with products from local businesses.

The event is designed for those looking to step outside the usual morning routine and meet like-minded individuals in a safe and welcoming space. Whether attendees are coming straight from the gym, an early morning park run, or simply looking for a new way to socialise, the coffee morning disco provides the perfect setting.

Bringing a fresh twist to morning socialising, the event will feature conversation starters, a lively atmosphere, and two DJs, all while guests enjoy unlimited tea, coffee, and soft drinks included in the ticket price. The event is open to families, groups of friends, and individuals looking to experience something different in the city.

Stuart McPhee, owner of Dough & Co, expressed his excitement about the new event, stating: “We are thrilled to bring the coffee morning disco concept to Aberdeen. Hosting it during Restaurant Week adds something new to the city’s cultural scene.

“Inspired by similar events in Austin, Texas, and Toronto, Canada, we want to offer people an alternative way to socialise and enjoy their mornings in a fun and energetic setting.”

The music selection will span from the 1960s to the present day, featuring an eclectic mix of disco, pop, rock, and soul, carefully curated by DJ Homealone and Jonny Kennedy.

To complement the upbeat atmosphere, Dough & Co will also be launching brand-new lunch items.

As part of the ticket price, guests will receive unlimited drinks, a Dough & Co doughnut, and a fresh fruit cup.

As a ticketed event, Good Morning Aberdeen marks the first of its kind, with plans already in place to host a monthly series of similar gatherings, each with its own unique variation.

Tickets are available now and can be purchased via the event page on Skiddle: https://skiddle.com/e/40642535
