Six Company, the Scottish firm that owns the Six by Nico restaurants, has announced an ambitious development in their ongoing partnership with Beatson Cancer Charity.

Following the success of non-profit restaurant Beat 6 in Bearsden, which recently reached a £1 million fundraising milestone, the Glasgow-based restaurant group will open Bamboleo, a neighbourhood Spanish steakhouse and wine bar, as the next step in this vision, with a goal of raising £2 million for the cause.

Bamboleo, which will replace Beat 6 at 149 Milngavie Rd in Bearsden, will offer a unique gathering place where great food, wine, and a great cause come together.

By combining top-quality ingredients with traditional Spanish flavours, the steakhouse and wine bar will aim to deliver an exceptional local dining experience in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Six Company Chief Executive and founder Nico Simeone said: “I am very much looking forward to the next steps for us with our fundraising efforts for Beatson Cancer Charity, with the opening of Bamboléo.

“We are very lucky to be in the position that we can have such a concept and I am so excited for the future. To have reached this milestone is remarkable.”

The versatile concept aims to welcome more of the community through their doors; whether you’re indulging in a succulent steak, sharing tapas with friends or catching up over a glass of wine, Bamboleo’s guests contribute to an ambitious goal while enjoying the best of Spanish cuisine with 100% profits going directly to Beatson Cancer Charity, which supports cancer patients and their families who are being treated at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre

Bamboloe will offer guests an a la carte menu featuring a choice of tapas, starters, mains and desserts and will be available for lunch and dinner Monday – Saturday alongside a Galician Sunday Roast menu served all day Sunday. Bamboleo will also offer a specially curated wine list boasting an impressive assortment of Spanish and world wines.

The two-level, 48-seat restaurant will not only satisfy guests’ taste buds but also helps improve the lives of cancer patients and their families.

On the mezzanine level of Bamboleo’s, a distinctive private dining area is available for gatherings, events and fundraising dinners.

Gillian Hailstones, CEO of Beatson Cancer Charity, said; “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Six Company and expand our mission through the launch of Bamboleo.

“Following the remarkable success of Beat 6, we’re excited to see Bamboleo open its doors, creating a new opportunity for the community to support those affected by cancer in a truly special way.

“Every meal enjoyed at Bamboleo helps provide essential support to cancer patients and their families, and we’re incredibly grateful for the continued commitment of Nico and his team.”

Bamboleo will open on Friday 8th November 2024 at 149 Milngavie Road in Bearsden, Glasgow, Scotland.Sign Up Here:https://bamboleoglasgow.co.uk/
