Over fifty of Glasgow’s most popular cafes and restaurants will feature exclusive discounts, curated menus and new dishes for one week only as the city celebrates its cuisine.

With restaurants offering exclusive menus at £10, £15, or £25, or a specially curated one-off tasting menu, it’s the perfect chance to try something new, go big on date night, find your new favourite brunch spot or sample seasonal Scottish fayre all whilst supporting local businesses.

As the city gears up to dine out and indulge in delicious dishes, here’s Top Ten restaurant deals to try out this Glasgow Restaurant Week: 

  1. The Finnieston: a celebrated Scottish restaurant which prides itself on high-quality, seasonal sustainable food, The Finnieston’s GRW menu will offer £25 for 3 small plates. Indulge in Isle of Barra Scallops, Cod Cheeks & Pea Risotto or Treacle Cured Trout for some of the city’s best seafood and small plates. 
  2. Mamasan: a must for any music and food fans, Mamasan has recently transformed into Scotland’s first listening bar, blending a stylish dining concept and Thai BBQ menu with a superior music listening experience. Try out Mamasan’s GRW discount, with £25 bagging you a large plate, small plate, side and glass of wine or beer. 
  3. Kilmurry & Co: a favourite Shawlands brunch spot, Kilmurry & Co will offer a £10 7oz steak and frites for GRW. Renowned in the Southside for stellar brunch dishes and great coffee, Kilmurry & Co’s evening menu is not to be missed. 
  4. Chaakoo West End: located just off the city’s bustling Byres Road, Chaakoo offers up authentic Indian cuisine that won’t disappoint. Striving to brighten up office lunches, their GRW menu includes a £10 lunch deal for two small Thali curries plus a side and soft drink, or for post-work catch-ups, check out the £15 dinner which includes one grill and one curry plus Masala fries or Jeera rice. 
  5. The Gannet: the city’s renowned fine dining spot in Finnieston is offering an exclusive version of their £65 3-course a la carte. For GRW only enjoy a complimentary intermediate course and a glass of the finest Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs.   6. Halloumi: serving up some of Glasgow’s best Greek food, Halloumi takes part in GRW with a £15 (2 dishes and a drink) and £25 menu (3 dishes and 2 cocktails). Share toasted pitta and dips, greek salads, moussaka, gyros and more at the laid back Hope St spot. 
  7. North at The Address: one of Glasgow’s newest restaurant openings, North’s relaxed dining is the perfect spot for coffee catch-ups or leisurely lunches. This GRW, enjoy a £10 lunch menu including a luxe Croque Monsieur, Teriyaki Beef or Tomato & Mozzarella with a tea/coffee, or £15 for a main course and side from North’s evening menu. 
  8. Five March: visit Five March in the city’s West End to enjoy a sharing feast. You’ll enjoy four tasty plates for only £35. Choose from an exclusive menu that includes delicious fried chicken sandwich, moreish fried spuds and citrus cured ocean trout with coconut, buttermilk, fennel. 
  9. Ka Pao: a Glasgow favourite, Ka Pao joins the GRW party with an exclusive £25 set menu meaning foodie fans can sample Southeast Asian inspired dishes like the venue’s famous corn ribs. Enjoy 4 dishes, choosing from the likes of pork and bone marrow sausage or panang curry of chicken plus jasmine rice and a soft serve at the gorgeous West End spot. 
  10. West Brewery: the ultimate way to round off a food tour of Glasgow with a classic pint, West Brewery will offer a discount on their popular Brewery Tour (£10, normally £15) which includes a 45 minute tour and 3-beer tasting, or a £35 6 course tasting menu. Cheers to that! 

Encompassing the entire city, Glasgow Restaurant Week will take place from North to South, East to West with customers encouraged to dine out, support local businesses and enjoy all that the city’s exceptional hospitality scene has to offer. 

Whether looking for small plates or large plates, Indian cuisine, classic pub fayre, traditional Scottish seasonal produce or bargains for both lunch and dinner, GRW will shine a light on some of Glasgow’s hidden gems. 

Ahead of Glasgow Restaurant Week kicking off, Anh Nguyen, Experience Glasgow Food & Drink Lead and Glasgow Food & Drink Month organiser, said:

Taking part in the city’s food festival include city centre favourites like Chaophraya, Celentano’s and Sprigg, whilst Finnieston venues include Lebowskis, Five March, Radisson RED and Porter & Rye. 

Glasgow Restaurant Week is part of the inaugural Glasgow Food & Drink Month in April, culminating in Glasgow Cocktail Week which takes place 19-29 April as the city’s biggest cocktail celebration. 

Glasgow Restaurant Week aims to generate footfall, local restaurant bookings and getting people to support their local neighbourhood businesses with set price menus at £10, 15, £25 or a tasting menu (prices set by restaurant).  The campaign has been created by Experience Glasgow Food & Drink, the city’s Regional Food Group. 

This campaign has been supported by the Regional Food Fund which is delivered by the Scotland Food & Drink Partnership with funding from Scottish Government.
