‘Funny Fizz’ captures a couple enjoying champagne and sandwiches in the drawing room of the famous Kinloch Lodge on Skye after their 20-year vow renewal ceremony. The couple had endured the wind and rain of the famous ‘Misty Isle’ to renew their vows then came inside to dry out and celebrate.

An intensely powerful portrait, The Candy Man, by UK photographer Jon Enoch, was crowned the overall winner of the international competition. The photograph was taken in the streets of western Mumbai and captures one of the city’s many candy-floss sellers. All the winners were announced by acclaimed chef, author and television presenter, Nadiya Hussain MBE, in an exciting Awards ceremony at BAFTA, London on Tuesday 16 May 2023. The announcement was also live streamed on the competition’s YouTube channel and was watched by an audience across the globe.
