Scotland’s Food and Hospitality Stars Celebrated at The Food Awards Scotland 2026

Scotland’s leading food, drink and hospitality businesses gathered at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central on 17 August for the 12th annual Food Awards Scotland 2026.

Organised by Oceanic Awards and hosted by renowned sports presenter David Tanner, the ceremony celebrated the people and establishments whose dedication, creativity and customer service continue to drive Scotland’s vibrant culinary sector.

The glittering evening brought together businesses from across the country, with awards recognising everything from fine dining restaurants and artisan bakeries to food trucks, cafés, takeaways and seafood specialists.

A spokesperson for Oceanic Awards said: “The Food Awards Scotland has spent twelve years celebrating the businesses and individuals who make Scotland’s food and hospitality sector so special. This year’s winners, along with those recognised for excellence and outstanding achievement, have demonstrated exceptional standards, innovation and commitment to their customers and communities.

“We congratulate every finalist and winner on their well-deserved success.”

Among the night’s top winners, Round Island Café Bar on the Isle of Cumbrae was named Restaurant of the Year, while Nooks & Crannies in Fraserburgh took home Café/Bistro of the Year. The Kirkmichael Arms in Maybole secured Gastro Pub of the Year, and Tigh Na Mara Hotel & Restaurant in Dumfries was named Hotel Restaurant of the Year.

Edinburgh was strongly represented across the categories, with Sora Diana Vegan Restaurant winning Best Vegetarian/Vegan Restaurant, Uwagboe’s Kitchen & Grill claiming Best World Cuisine, and Tuk Tuk Indian Street Food receiving Street Food Restaurant of the Year.

Elsewhere, Seafood Shack in Ullapool was crowned Best Seafood Restaurant, Howff Secret Supper Club in Dundee won Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year, and Vera Artisan Bakery in Stirling was recognised as Artisan Bakery of the Year.

Glasgow businesses also enjoyed a successful night. Palmtree Kitchen was named Best of Glasgow, while Mini Grill Steakhouse collected Bar & Grill of the Year. California Kitchen & Catering, meanwhile, was awarded Caterer of the Year.
