Master Chocolatier Iain Burnett and his team at The Highland Chocolatier have been awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence for the second consecutive year, recognising the exceptional visitor experience offered at their Grandtully establishment.

The award serves as official recognition of what the judges described as an “outstanding visitor experience” at The Highland Chocolatier, cementing the venue’s reputation as a premier destination for chocolate enthusiasts.

According to sources familiar with the award, the accolade acknowledges the team’s continual improvements and unwavering dedication to hospitality. The Highland Chocolatier has distinguished itself through high-quality customer service and unique chocolate experiences that have resonated with visitors.

“We were really excited to launch the Guided Chocolate Tasting Flights a few years ago, to share insights into the creation of gourmet chocolates, their flavours and textures” said Iain Burnett.

“The awards are a wonderful reminder to my team that their drive to deliver not just an insightful and fun epicurean adventure, but a genuine experience on such a personal level to every guest individually, is indeed what people really value.”

The Highland Chocolatier has built an international reputation for excellence, particularly for their signature Velvet Truffles®. These handcrafted confections have previously been honored as the World’s Best Truffle and have secured Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards from respected chocolate and food associations throughout the industry.

Visitor feedback consistently highlights the exceptional quality of the experience, with reviews on platforms such as Tripadvisor praising the “impeccable service,” “interesting audio tour,” and “exceptional tasting” sessions offered at the venue.

The business’s commitment to hand-crafted chocolates using natural ingredients and presented in elegant packaging has contributed significantly to its reputation for excellence in both product quality and visitor engagement.

This second consecutive Award of Excellence reinforces The Highland Chocolatier’s position as a leading destination for chocolate connoisseurs seeking both premium products and memorable experiences in Scotland’s food and drink landscape.
