An Edinburgh craft brewer is raising the bar with a bumper line-up for this year’s ‘Neighbourgood’ outdoor summer food and drink market, returning to Stockbridge from 1st May to 2nd August 2026.

Building on the success of 2025, Cold Town Beer is joining forces with Neighbourgood Market for a second consecutive year, bringing an even bigger programme of beer tastings, live World Cup screenings on a giant outdoor screen, ceilidh entertainment and its iconic gondola activation.

Celebrated for its playful take on après-ski culture, Cold Town Beer captures the charm and energy of the slopes. This summer, it will bring the spirit of the French Alps to Edinburgh, recreating a lively alpine atmosphere in the heart of the city— complete with two retired gondolas from Courchevel.

Cold Town Beer will be pouring its award-winning core range, including Crisp Craft Lager and Baltic IPA, alongside its summer favourite, Totally Tropical Lager—a refreshing, crowd-pleasing serve for the season.

The lineup is complemented by Thistly Cross Cider, which will be serving both its Original and Berries ciders, offering a refreshing alternative and ensuring there’s something to suit every palate. The collaboration brings together two like-minded producers with a shared passion for quality and flavour, broadening the range of thirst-quenching options available.

The continued partnership with Neighbourgood Market marks another milestone in Cold Town Beer’s growth, as the brand continues to strengthen its presence across Edinburgh and beyond. Named after Calton Hill—originally ‘Caltoun’, meaning ‘cold town’—the brewery has become a prominent name in the city’s craft beer scene.

The pop-up also reinforces Cold Town Beer’s presence in Stockbridge, complementing its established home in Edinburgh’s Old Town.

Irma Jansen, Sales & Business Development Manager for Cold Town Beer, said:

“The first time was so nice, we had to do it twice. We’re absolutely delighted to be partnering with Neighbourgood Market again this summer. Last year was a brilliant experience for us—the atmosphere, the energy, and the way people connected with the Cold Town brand was something really special.

“We built a fantastic relationship with the team on site and the wider operators, making the partnership feel truly collaborative from day one. Coming back for a second year gives us the opportunity to build on that, go bigger, and bring even more to the table.

“We’re really looking forward to being part of such a vibrant, social space again and continuing to create memorable moments with everyone who visits.”

Neighbourgood Market is set to host a rotating lineup of local street food vendors throughout the summer, offering a diverse and ever-changing selection of flavours for visitors to enjoy. The full lineup is still under wraps, with details to be revealed soon. Following its huge success last year, the Cold Town Ceilidh is also expected to return, with the date still to be announced.

Since launching in 2020, Neighbourgood Market has become a key fixture in Edinburgh’s events calendar and is expected to attract thousands of food and drink enthusiasts to Stockbridge once again this summer.

Neighbourgood is the brainchild of hospitality entrepreneurs Preston Mommsen and Edward Wilson and has grown into one of the largest outdoor events of its kind in the city.

Edward Wilson from Neighbourgood, said:

“We are really excited to work with Cold Town again at the Neighbourgood Market this summer – our customers thoroughly enjoyed the range of delicious beers and we believe it’s a great collaboration between two energetic Edinburgh brands.”

Neighbourgood Market is located on the sports fields by Portgower Place and Raeburn Place in Stockbridge, running from 1st May to 2nd August 2026.
