Aberdeenshire chef Orry Shand is teaming up with Michelin-acclaimed Scottish chef and fellow Great British Menu star Lorna McNee for an exclusive pop-up dining experience at Cail Bruich on Great Western Road in Glasgow on Wednesday 27 May.
Cail Bruich’s chef executive Lorna McNee will be joined by Shand for a one-night-only four-hands dinner, bringing together two standout talents from the BBC series.
McNee, who won the competition in 2019 and returned as a judge in 2025, will cook alongside 2026 finalist Shand to create a collaborative menu showcasing bold flavours and dishes inspired by their time on the show.
Commenting on the collaboration, Shand said: “I’m really looking forward to joining Lorna and her team for this exclusive dining experience at Cail Bruich in Glasgow.
“Having just appeared on Great British Menu and having previously worked with Lorna at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, it made perfect sense to bring our culinary styles together. We will be creating a collaborative menu showcasing bold flavours and dishes inspired by our time on the show.
“This dinner is also a chance to share a glimpse of my style and what’s to come at my own restaurant, Falls by Orry Shand, which will open its doors this July.”
Starting at 7pm, the evening will begin with Champagne and canapés, followed by a six-course tasting menu designed by both chefs, with paired wines curated by restaurant manager Rhianne Stevenson.

Tickets are priced at £300 per person, inclusive of the full menu and wine pairings. Reservations can be made online at: https://www.sevenrooms.com/experiences/cailbruich/delamotte-salon-4-hands-dinner-6683026016845824
Shand is also preparing to open his first independent restaurant in Royal Deeside this summer. The former Falls of Feugh restaurant near Banchory has been renamed Falls by Orry Shand, inspired by its dramatic riverside setting.
He said: “We’re another step closer to opening the doors to the restaurant this summer, as work on the venue continues to progress.
“Rooted in Royal Deeside, Falls by Orry Shand will celebrate local produce and the region’s distinctive character. A set multi-course tasting menu of up to 12 to 15 servings will blend Scottish ingredients with Nordic inspiration and classic French cooking techniques.”
Falls by Orry Shand is located at Bridge of Feugh, near Banchory, around 20 miles from Aberdeen, and will open for dinner four nights a week from Wednesday to Saturday from 15 July 2026.
