THIS week will see an iconic Glasgow brand, Panther M*lk, and its creator Paul Crawford, appear on the BBC One’s The Dragons’ Den. Set to air on Thursday, 24th March, the next episode of the popular business show will feature Paul’s pitch of the Panther M*lk delicious range, to Britain’s biggest business panel, but will he succeed?

Panther M*lk is the world’s first ever oat milk ready to drink cocktail. It was created when Paul, who owned Glasgow’s iconic Sub Club at the time, discovered the recipe at a Barcelona music festival, which was inspired by ‘Leche De Pantera’, a potent cocktail that has its origins in the hedonism and indulgence of 1920’s Spain.

The brand has enjoyed rapid growth since its inception and comes as the booming ready-to-drink cocktail category is expected to double in the next five years.

The brand has a firm iconic status following across Scotland, driven by the 4.5-year Panther M*lk  pop up bar, but will it be tasty enough to tame the dragons fire?

Panther M*lk’s use of exclusively high-quality spirits and ingredients sees it occupy a unique place in the market, while the drink also appears to a huge subset of drinkers who choose to follow vegan diets, or those who are lactose-intolerant, and are seeking out plant-based alternatives to popular dairy-based cocktails.
