NEW Scottish canned cocktails company Angels Dare is ending 2022 on a high after earning top marks at The Spirit Business Pre-Mixed and RTD awards ceremony. With a Gold Medal awarded to both the brand’s Maverick Martini and Secret Orchard cocktails, and their third cocktail blend ‘Cheeky Wee Kiss’ earning a Silver, the achievement is even more impressive considering Angels Dare only launched in March. The brainchild of founder Michael Crozier, the cocktails have been created and canned in Scotland and are free of sulphites, preservatives, artificial flavours, and sweeteners. The cocktails are also vegetarian and vegan friendly.

The medals follow a year of impressive growth from the brand, which was the first to receive funding from micro-investment and operations management firm CAM Ventures. Through their support and guidance, Angels Dare has fostered an impressive distribution network, and is now available at a growing number of independent food and drink retailers, in addition to being stocked in a growing number of hotels and serviced apartments.

Of his achievements, Crozier has said, ‘2022 has seen incredible growth for Angels Dare cocktails. We have created a brand which really resonates with the public, and we’ve fostered relationships with some amazing independent retailers, delis, and hotels, allowing us to further share a love for truly great cocktails.’

Looking ahead to 2023, the brand is set to continue its path of innovation and are currently creating a low alcohol option for fans to enjoy, along with several new cocktail flavours currently in the works.
